The Town of Jackson is the only incorporated municipality in Teton County and provides municipal services such as street upkeep (including plowing/sanding), sidewalk development and maintenance, police and animal services, building permits, utility management and liquor licensing for establishments within the city limits.
The Town is run by an elected Mayor and four elected council people, and is managed by a professional manager. The services are divided into five departments. About 110 employees come to work everyday to help ensure that our Town runs smoothly.
